The term "Petro-Dollar" has been bandied about for years. In my travels, much has been mentioned in indirect terms about it, with assumptions of its nature and structural significance. It is mentioned often carelessly when talking about crude oil and its Persian Gulf sales. Yet little is written on the topic, and little is easily found to read and learn.
