something very similar is going on here in my city, Montreal. its called Body Worlds 2 though, thinking about checking it out.

Yeah. They have a several months long installation here in Durham, NC called "Bodies." It is located at the Shoppes of Southpoint giant mall complex. And it costs like $30 to get in. I think this dead Chinese people bodies art show thingies is some type of mafia scam.

Here its held in the l science museum. What I find extremely odd is they sell tickets for an exact time and date. Normally in a museum you can just show up anytime.. very strange. . but I suppose an exhibit with dead bodies is a little strange in its self.

now the only question is... can they *control* artificial muscles?

To elaborate a bit more, it's my understanding that there are not yet good control algorithms for artificial muscles as opposed to say, linear motors.
