The application works by assuming a constant viewing angle (35-45 degrees), typical for when the device is placed on a tabletop. The 3d scenes perspective is warped using anamorphosis, the same technique used in Hans Holbeins painting The Ambassadors. This application does the exact same but updates dynamically.

The FACTRON Re-Nano is an $820 iPod Nano case made out of titanium. Designer Kiwami Studio says they use precision tooling similar to that used to build satellites and Formula One cars. Which is exactly the type of over the top craftsmanship I need to protect my $149 iPod Nano. Seriously, this is like buying a Rolls Royce to protect your Hyundai.

We love Apple. Apple knows more about "clean" design than anybody, right? So why do Macs, iPods, iBooks and the rest of their product range contain hazardous substances that other companies have abandoned? A cutting edge company shouldn't be cutting lives short by exposing children in China and India to dangerous chemicals.

It's pretty clear to anyone with eyes that Taiwain-based Luxpro's Super Shuffle (pictured) is a direct rip of Apple's 1st generation Shuffle's design. I mean, hey, even the product name has the word "shuffle" in it. But that hasn't stopped Luxpro from being able to file a $100 million suit against Apple.

Copy anyone's product, slap an ugly logo on it, add a couple extra vanilla features for good measure. Sit back, & enjoy soaring sales off the back of someone else's marketing efforts.

Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision, has reportedly won a contract to manufacture 12 million mobile phone handsets for Apple, The Commercial Times reports. Citing Industry sources, the paper said the phones will launch in the first half of next year and will also function as music players. Maybe they will look like this(but probably not!)
