On the night of March 2, while he was sleeping, he heard noises. Some humans dressed in black, with ski masks covering their faces approached. They jumped a gate; the duck quacked saying Free me immediately I don't want to be here! The humans wrapped him with a blanket, put him in a box and they carried him away.

A swan who fell in love with a swan-shaped paddle boat has been moved to a zoo with his plastic lover. Biologists in Muenster, north-western Germany, say the rare Black Australian Swan has been showing all the typical signs of love for its species, circling its plastic lover, staring endlessly at it and making crooning noises.

Though horseball in its current form surfaced 20 years ago in Bordeaux as a way to make riding instruction fun, it owes much of its structure to bizarre foreign influences: Both the Argentine game of pato (played by gauchos tossing around a dead duck in a bag) and the Afghan game of buzkashi (in which teams raced through the dessert, using a headless goat corpse instead of a ball) have helped shape horseball into what it is today.
