Car Jumps Curb on Court Street, 5 People Injured

Yesterday afternoon, a woman drove her car into a bus shelter in Brooklyn. Luckily the bus shelter was just completed or else there could have been even more injuries than the five that were reported. WABC 7 reported that the driver was double parked when another car needed to get by. The second car's driver "sat on his horn until the woman in the Maxima moved from the passenger seat and got behind the wheel."

(CBS) BROOKLYN A baby calf on the way to the slaughterhouse escaped into the streets of Brooklyn on Tuesday night, touching off a wild cow chase that had police cars and ambulances criss-crossing every which way.

Brooklyn unrest after residents say police beat 75-year-old man

NEW YORK -- Hundreds of residents stormed the streets and set garbage can fires Tuesday night to protest the treatment of a 75-year-old hearing-impaired caterer they say was beaten by police officers during a traffic stop.

Supposedly this was a full on riot. Even a police car was burned. It's kind of interesting how little press it received.
