Ajax, a hero of the Iliad, was tutored by a centaur, at one point pretty much fought the Trojan army alone, and eventually killed himself in shame after a messy episode with a bunch of sheep. It's unlikely all that actually happened. In a similar sense AJAX is not real, but that doesn't mean the modern day technology myth does not have some basis in fact. More →
